For a smaller cornerback, he isn't afraid of physicality at the catch point, nor is he intimidated by bigger receivers in man coverage, and he has the ball skills needed to track the ball and make a play. The offense has scored fewer than 20 points in seven straight games, and Jacksonville has been below average in both pass block win rate (56.3%) and run block win rate (69.3%) on the year. Wilson was arguably the best wide receiver in college football in 2021, forcing 19 missed tackles and generating five 100-yard games.

He earned 0.47 wins above average, the 11th-best mark in football among wide receivers. It's not clear who will be the Browns' quarterback in 2021, but what is clear is that they need a receiver who can make plays in a number of different circumstances. The debate between Hutchinson and Thibodeaux will continue over the four months of lead-up to the draft, and the Texans would be happy with whichever player the Lions don't take here. Thibodeaux actually has the better skill set, but Hutchinson is just a consistent force on Michigan's defense and plays with more fire. Veteran pass rushers Calais Campbell and Justin Houston are set to become unrestricted free agents at the end of the season.

That might have Saints fans up in arms but at the end of the day, a franchise quarterback is more important than an explosive wide receiver.

Plus, the wide receiver draft class is strong and New Orleans could land another decent wideout in the second or third round. The state of the Eagles' wide receivers room is such that nobody could blame them for using first-round picks on the position in consecutive drafts. George Pickens' production has yet to match his talent level, but he has the ability necessary to be one of 2022's top wide receivers. After playing only one game in 2020, Ojabo erupted for an 11-sack season this year with five forced fumbles.

It's hard to find another college corner who is trusted on an island in press-man coverage as much as "Sauce" Gardner. The 6-foot-2, 188-pounder's 321 such snaps this season lead the nation by 61.

And despite that big ask, Gardner has yet to allow more than 13 yards in a single game this year. Quarterbacks have gone No. 1 overall in six of the past seven drafts, but we might not even see one in the top 10 in 2022 for the first time since 2013, when EJ Manuel led the signal-callers at No. 16 overall. To go with those ball skills, Moss is roughly 6'1 195 and holds the Iowa state record in the 110-meter hurdles.

Paton and the Broncos have emphasized special teams work frequently among their acquisitions, and Moss would fit that mold to a T while also adding a talented corner into their depth. The closer we get to draft day, the more I attempt to match what teams will actually do with their draft picks as opposed to what I believe they should do. If this is how it shakes out, perhaps Green Bay entertains a trade down to a team wanting to nab a quarterback here. There might not be a receiver or edge rusher worth taking in this spot, so Dean could be an option.

De'Vondre Campbell has been a revelation, but he's a free agent-to-be who could price his way out of Green Bay. If Dean meets the Packers' size threshold for the position, he could be an instant factor in the team's dime defense with his speed and coverage ability. Neal is the third most likely player to go first overall on DraftKings (+1000).

The Alabama product is an excellent selection for the Texans, especially given how likely it is that Houston trades star left tackle Laremy Tunsil. Vincent, the son of long-time Eagles cornerback Troy Vincent, missed all of 2019 with a shoulder injury and started last season off slowly while still rehabbing.

But he's a big-time prospect and if he continues improving this year, he'd be a terrific fit in Jonathan Gannon's defense (and the Eagles' first first-round pick from Ohio State since Keith Byars in 1986). London excels at football and basketball at 6-foot-5 and is off to an incredible start with 832 yards in his first six games. With the NFL and college football seasons nearing the two-month mark, the 2022 NFL Draft picture is becoming clearer. Tennessee took Caleb Farley and Kristian Fulton with early picks in the past two years, but cornerback remains a bit of a weakness. The Titans have allowed 30 passing plays of 25-plus yards, tied for the sixth most in the NFL.

Booth's tape has impressed me, from his ability to run in phase with receivers to his excellent ball skills . Cunningham has impressive length and once he has his hands sets on the opposing pass rusher, he just locks him down. The Razorbacks' starting tackle has experience playing both at left and right tackle. Cunningham displays great footwork and solid lateral agility, he's very reliable in run blocking but still needs to improve in pass protection. Cunningham has often issues facing explosive pass rushers and needs to work on his hand placement.

In any case the Lions are in good position to add talent in the 2022 draft, starting with two first-round picks. The second first-rounder of course came courtesy of the Matthew Stafford trade last offseason, and it'll probably be somewhere in the 20s overall with the Rams on track to be a playoff team. The Broncos are talented enough to still be in the playoff picture right now, which means they would be doing this team a disservice by not improving on their quarterback situation in the offseason. Denver chose to be patient last year, but I find it hard to believe they can hold their water for a second-straight draft.
